How to troubleshoot an app that does not work with your Promac Smart TV?

If your app on your device isn't working properly, try these actions.

Note: Downloaded apps that you have not downloaded on Google Play may not be fully compatible with your device . If the following actions do not solve the issue, please contact Promac Support.

1.  Uninstall the app.
2.  Go to the TV settings.
3.  Look for the software information and check the Android version of your TV.
4.  Search for an app that matches your TVs version (see walk-through below on how to find an app).
5.  Save the APK file to your flash drive, then plug it in to your TV.
6.  Go to the media then open the APK file that you downloaded. Your TV will warn or ask you about the risks of
     installing unknown apps and prompt you to authorize the download. Tap the "OK" button to proceed.

Finding and downloading your app

1.  Open www.APKMirror.com in your phone or computer's browser.
2.  Browse through the site's collection or use the search box at the top to find and select the app that you want.
3.  If an app has multiple versions available, you'll see them listed by version number and release date.
4.  Tap the version you want, then tap the file name (under the "Download" header) and tap the red "Download APK"
     button on the bottom of the next page.
5.  Save the APK to your external storage or flash drive.

How to do wireless network setup

STEP 1.     Press the HOME button on the remote.
STEP 2.    Select Settings.
STEP 3.    Select Network.
STEP 4.    Select Network Setup.
STEP 5.    Select Setup network connection or wireless set up.

Mouse / Keyboard

Notes:   In general, Promac Smart TVs can recognize the majority of USB keyboards and mice accessories. However, some functions may not be supported. Here's the list of confirmed devices, click here.

STEP 1.     Connect the USB device to the TV USB port.
STEP 2.    Turn on the connected USB device if necessary (for wireless keyboard and mouse).

Smartphone / Tablet

IMPORTANT:   Not all Promac Smart TVs have the following features. To verify if your TV supports the following connectivity, please ask the Customer Representative via live chat.

Screen Mirroring:

Android Device

STEP 1.     Open Miracast app on your TV.
STEP 2.    Open the “wireless display” settings menu on your Android device and turn on sharing.
STEP 3.    Select the Miracast from the displayed device list and follow on-screen instructions to complete the set-up
                 process.

Apple Device

STEP 1.     Open AirPlay app on your Promac TV.
STEP 2.    Connect your iPhone or Ipad to the same WiFi network as your Promac TV.
STEP 3.    Open the control center.
STEP 4.    Tap screen mirroring.
STEP 5.    Select your Promac TV from the list.

E-share App

STEP 1.     Open the e-share app on your Promac TV.
STEP 2.    Open the e-share app on your device and choose e-share code of your Promac TV.
STEP 3.    You can use your device as touch mouse, air mouse, keyboard, touch pad and remote controller.
